The combination of glossy wetlook fabric and lace makes this mini dress a little different from styles made entirely from one material. The smooth fabric fits closely around the waist and hips, while the lace adds detail to the top without covering the neckline.
At the front, lace follows the deep neckline and continues up towards the high collar. Two buttons fasten the collar behind the neck. The sleeveless cut leaves the arms bare and keeps the lace around the bust clearly visible.
The back uses the same combination of fabrics, with a lace panel contrasting against the wetlook skirt. The dress stays fitted down to its short hem. Both materials have stretch, allowing the fabric to follow the body's shape without additional lacing or decorative fastenings.
